In Short.
The BLACKCAPS record winning run came to an end on unlucky 13.
On a beautiful evening at Eden Park, a fired-up Pakistan handed the hosts' their first loss of the home summer, to set up an intriguing T20I decider at the Mount on Sunday.
In front of big-boisterous Auckland crowd, the visitor’s batsmen found their form to post a formidable 201-4 from their 20 overs, with telling contributions from Fakhar Zaman (50), Ahmed Shehzad (44), Babar Azam (50), Sarfraz Ahmed (41).
The BLACKCAPS run-chase struggled to get going as Pakistan claimed early wickets and a crucial run-out of Tom Bruce.
Mitchell Santner (37) and Ben Wheeler (30) dug-in for a 54-run partnership to take the game
