In Short
Captain Kane Williamson and rookie Glenn Phillips put on a fighting 83-run partnership, but Pakistan's target of 166 proved too much for the BLACKCAPS in the third T20I in Dubai.
Williamson was at his brilliant best. He flicked and finessed his way to 60 off 38 balls, including eight fours and two sixes as he gave the visitors a fighting chance.
Pakistan had other ideas and put on the squeee on through star spinners Shadab Khan and Syed Wasim.
Earlier, Babar Azam (79) and player of the series Mohammad Haffez (53*) ensured the hosts posted a formiddable total.
The tour now switches to a three-match ODI series starting in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
