Scorecard

Christchurch Boys’ High School played Otago Boys’ High School on Lincoln Green for both teams’ last match, and batted first, reaching a big score of 262/8.

The total was buit by two great knocks from Callum Hill (80) and Jack Lewis (74) that set up their side well for their bowling innings.

Otago Boys’ fell well short of their total, Cameron McAuslan top-scoring for his side with a hard-fought 30 runs, but the bowling from Christchurch Boys’, in particular Scott Burnett with 4-21, was just too strong and helped give Christchurch Boys’ a big, 145-run win.

That win lifted Christchurch Boys’ to a third-place finish and left Otago Boys’ in fifth place.
