ROUND TWO
OTAGO VOLTS v AUCKLAND ACES
At the University of Otago Oval, Dunedin
30 October - 2 November 2019
TOSS: No toss made
Points this round: Otago Volts 4, Auckland Aces 4
DAY FOUR: match abandoned with no toss made. Despite sunny skies, pockets of the outfield and bowlers' run-ups remained sodden from heavy rain earlier in the week, with temperatures cool.
It was the first time a New Zealand domestic first-class four-dayer had been abandoned without a ball bowled due to wet weather since March 1997 when weather prevented a scheduled match at the Basin Reserve between Wellington and Canterbury.
DAY THREE - no toss or play possible
A grey start to the day here in Dunedin, rain last night means the ground is still wet under foot. 🌧ï¸Umpires checking the outfield and we'll have an update soon. 🤞#cricketnation #OurOtago pic.twitter.com/Zqc7yMvbk6
