The WHITE FERNS have suffered their first loss of the T20 Tri-Series, falling to England by 54 runs in Taunton.
Leigh Kasperek claimed 3-35 as England amassed 172-8 from their 20 overs after winnning the toss and electing to bat.
Suzie Bates and Maddy Green top scored with 23-runs-a-piece in the chase which fell behind the asking-rate early.
The result leaves the WHITE FERNS second on the table with a win and a loss from their opening two games.
The Tri-Series relocates to Bristol for the final round of matches on Thursday with all three teams still capable of making the Final after South Africa's victory over England in the earlier game.
