New Plymouth Boys’ High School vs St. Andrew’s College
St. Andrew’s College 136/6 (Tom McKay 57, Jesse Frew 33; Chris Logan two for 11, Jack Parker two for 17) beat New Plymouth Boys’ High School 117 (Jack Parker 59; Jesse Frew five for 20, Matthew Mullholland two for 19) by 19 runs

St. Andrew’s College decided to bat first in their 20-over match against New Plymouth Boys’ High School on the fifth and final day of the NZCT Boys’ tournament in Palmerston North.
After a steady start to their innings, the well performed Jesse Frew and Tom McKay opened up and started to dispatch the New Plymouth BHS bowlers around the park.
Frew eventually fell for 33 while McKay reached his half century.
McKay was dismissed shortly after the milestone for 57 runs.
Chris Logan and Jack Parker both bowled hard for New Plymouth BHS, and managed to pick up two wickets each.
St. Andrew’s College ended up with the good total of 136/6 from their 20 overs.
New Plymouth Boys’ HS had a strong start to their run chase in reply, number three batsman Jack Parker top scoring with 59.
But some outstanding bowling from Frew, picking up five wickets in quick succession, led his side to a tight 19-run win.
The last day saw St. Andrew’s College finishing the tournament in second place.
Jesse Frew’s all-round contribution putting him amongst the top performers of the tournament with bat and ball. New Plymouth Boys' High ended in fifth spot.
