Cricket Wellington CEO resigns

Cricket Wellington CEO Ervin McSweeney has resigned.

The former Wellington, Central Districts and BLACKCAPS ODI wicketkeeper leaves after eight years at the Basin Reserve.

Cricket Wellington chairman Ian Wells said: "Erv had a strong desire to ensure Wellington was to the forefront of the game when it came to national and local developments and has worked hard to achieve the current healthy position that Cricket Wellington enjoys."
