A Jesse Ryder century extended State Wellington Firebirds’ lead over State Canterbury Wizards at the Basin Reserve.
Wellington dismissed Canterbury for 292, 73 runs short of the hosts’ first innings total.
Ryder then put on 112 as the Firebirds moved to 213 for seven, to build up a sizeable lead.
Chris Harris took three for 48 for the Wizards.
