John McGlashan College 120/4 (Harrison Biggs 49 not out, William Sheard 20; Movindu Kumarasinghe one for 10) lost to Hamilton Boys’ High School 121/8 (Josh Dinan 56, Zac Ottoaway 24 not out; Ben Hatton four for 23) by two wickets

Much like the other matches on day five, John McGlashan College elected to bat after winning the toss in their reduced 20-over match v Hamilton Boys’ High School.
Harrison Biggs was the leading scoring for John McGlashan, smashing 49 not out.
He had support from opener William Sheard who reached 20.
The wicket-takers were spread out amongst Hamilton BHS.
Movindu Kumarasinghe ended up with the tidiest figures of 1/10, and had helped to limit John McGlashan to 120/4 in their 20 overs.
That was even with Biggs hitting the ball well at one end for John McGlashan.
Hamilton Boys’ High School lost three quick wickets, but managed to steady the innings through Josh Dinan (56 runs) and captain Zac Ottaway (26*).
The run chase came down to the wire, but Hamilton just managed to sneak in with a two-wicket victory.
This despite Ben Hatton bowling superbly for John McGlashan with figures of 4/23.
The result left John McGlashan in sixth place, and Hamilton BHS in fourth, after a good start and winning finish to the week.
