Chris Harris maintained his strong form with a half-century to lead State Canterbury Wizards to a four-wicket Twenty20 victory over State Otago Volts at Dunedin’s University Oval.
Wizards captain Harris hit 65 in 45 deliveries to help the Wizards reach 141 for six, outscoring Otago’s 139.
The veteran plundered three sixes and six fours, and was the only Canterbury player to exceed 20 runs.
Harris also led the Canterbury bowling figures, claiming three for 14 - including two in the final over of the Otago innings.
Nathan McCullum led the Volts scoring with 37, after Craig Cumming provided 30.
