Hinds claim win

State League champions Central Hinds claimed their first win of the season at Auckland’s Melville Park where the Hearts were defeated by six wickets.

Following the abandonment of the first match between the sides, the title holders bowled out their hosts for 134 in 47.4 overs.

Ingrid Cronin-Knight made 31 and Sara Hungerford 34 for the Hearts.

In response, the Hinds reached their target with more than 12 overs in hand, White Fern Aimee Mason leading the way with an unbeaten 31.
