The Yahoo!Xtra Northern Knights have ruled Daniel Flynn out for the first two rounds of the HRV Cup, following a groin injury that occurred just prior to round two of the Plunket Shield.
He will be replaced for game one on Thursday evening by Nick Horsley, returning to the game after a break of two years.
For round two, in Auckland, David Hussey will join his Victorian team mate Brad Hodge and play for the Knights as their second overseas player.
Hussey, who has an outstanding international Twenty20 record, is only available for one game at this point.
