State Northern Knights moved into the State Championship lead with a four-wicket win over State Otago Volts at Dunedin’s University Oval.
Half-centuries by Hamish Marshall and Alun Evans saw the Knights overhaul a first-innings deficit.
Marshall made 86 and Evans 55 in a second-wicket century stand, as Northern chased down a 247 for victory at a cost of six wickets.
Bradley Scott followed his five-wicket haul with three for 54 but could not stem the visitors’ run scoring.
Otago had declared to force a result, closing their second innings at 179 for four.
Openers Craig Cumming and Jordan Sheed made fifties.
