There is just one week left to nominate your volunteer coach for the Wattie’s Volunteer Coach of the Year 2007.
With new categories and great prizes up for grabs, a large number of nominations have already been received, but there are more volunteer coaches out there who we want to thank!
Wattie’s and SPARC want to find New Zealand’s great volunteer coaches. Let us know why your volunteer coach deserves a big 'thanks'!
All coaches who volunteer their time deserve to be stars, and with your help Wattie's and SPARC will acknowledge their excellent efforts.
There are four categories:
- Student (intermediate or high school-aged coach)
- Newcomer (coaching for five years or less)
- Lifetime Achievement (coaching for a very long time!)
- General (coaching for more than five years but not yet a lifetime)
These winners will receive funding towards coaching development or equipment. And by making a nomination, you could go in the draw to win sports gear.
