Looking to back up yesterday’s win, St. Andrew’s College won their toss on day four and decided to bat first again John McGlashan College.

Jesse Frew had a great knock of 60, unbeaten, to set up his side with a very competitive total of 232/6.

Tom McKay also batted well to reach 48.



Harry Tourelle (3/28) and Ben Hatton (2/47) were the pick of the bowlers for John McGlashan College, but the side had a tough run chase ahead — and it wasn’t made any easier after losing quick wickets.

Tom Dempster and George Bell ground out 22 and 20 respectively, but that didn’t prevent their side from falling to a 132-run defeat.

Jess Frew had a great day with the ball as well as the bat, picking up 5/20 while Matt Mullholland also bowled well for his 2/11.
