Haidee Tiffen was again the scourge of State Central Hinds’ bowling to give State League champion Canterbury Wizards a 23-run victory in Christchurch.
Tiffen followed her 97 in the Magicians’ 62-run win the preceding day with a knock of 92, another powerful innings that included 10 fours.
However, Central’s White Fern Sarah McGlashan (pictured) top-scored in the match with an unbeaten 102, which contained 12 boundaries.
Canterbury’s Mandie Godliman, who scored 72 in the opening game, scored 56 this time around and Rowan Milburn hit 49 not out as part of their 238 for three.
McGlashan boldly led the Hinds at their target, but the visitors could not keep their run-rate high enough to take the victory, completing their 50 overs on 215 for six.
