Nathan McCullum’s century helped State Otago Volts to 386 in their trial match against State Canterbury Wizards at Lincoln.
McCullum made 107, putting on 149 with captain Greg Todd (86) as the Volts batted through the day.
Spinner Todd Astle claimed three wickets from 25 overs, while Iain Robinson claimed two for 31 from 14.
