National Under-19 Tournament: Round 2

Three players scored centuries as the second round of the National Under-19 tournament got underway at Lincoln.

Brad Rodden of Otago, Canterbury’s Corey Anderson and Andrew de Boorder of Auckland reached three figures for their respective sides.

Each of the six teams had already played one three day game before their arrival in Lincoln.

Canterbury’s innings concluded at 225 all out, having been 115 for five before Anderson boosted their total.

Martin Kain then took three wickets for only seven runs as ND fell to 25/3, progressing to 75/6 at stumps.

At Lincoln Green, Otago won the toss and batted and were 294 for five at stumps after an excellent fourth wicket partnership of 145 between Brayden Hill (84) and Rodden (109).
