The BLACKCAPS played the opening T20i in Durban overnight

NZC expresses disappointment for fans

New Zealand Cricket is disappointed today’s Twenty20 International in Durban was not broadcast into New Zealand.

Cricket has been on a high in New Zealand for the past year; the BLACKCAPS are among the most exciting players to watch in the world and the country has shown a great appetite for the game.

The broadcasting rights for overseas tours are not owned by NZC: they are the property of Cricket South Africa.

However, NZC will be discussing the situation with Cricket South Africa, in an attempt to ensure BLACKCAPS fans will be able to watch the remainder of the series live in New Zealand.
