New Zealand’s top junior secondary school boys’ cricket teams will take to the pitch in Palmerston North next week (4th-8th April) to compete in the NZCT Junior Secondary School Boys’ Tournament finals.
The finals week, hosted at Fitzherbert Park and Manawaroa Park, bring together six teams for a week-long 40-over cricket round robin competition.
Each team competing in the tournament is the regional winner from a preliminary round qualification stage.
The NZCT Junior Boys’ tournament has been a major part of New Zealand Cricket’s junior development programme since its inception in 2004.

The tournament starts off with John McGlashan College v New Plymouth Boys’ High School on Fitzherbert Park 1; Hutt International Boys’ School v Hamilton Boys’ High School on Fitzherbert Park 2; and St. Andrew’s College v Auckland Grammar School on Manawaroa Park.

Monday 4th – Thursday 7th April: One match per team 10am-3:50pm
Friday 8th April: One match per team 9:30am-3pm
