For the second day in a row, all matches in the New Zealand Community Trust Junior Boys competition at Manawaroa Park in Palmerston North were abandoned, with rain ruining any chance of play on day two.
The tournament will now start again tomorrow in a Twenty20 format, with the original schedule compacted to be completed inside the remaining two days. The teams will play two pool games tomorrow, and another on Wednesday morning, before facing off against their resulting equivalent seed from the opposite pool in the afternoon to finalise their placing.
The schedule will start again from the beginning, with yesterday’s fixtures beginning at 10:00am tomorrow.
