New Zealand’s top secondary school girls’ cricket teams will meet in Palmerston North this week (from Tuesday, 8-10 December) to compete in the Finals fo the NZCT Secondary School Girls Tournament.
Hosted at Fitzherbert and Manawaroa Parks, the Finals bring together six teams for a three-day T20 round-robin competition. Each team competing in the tournament was the regional winner of their preliminary round qualification stage.
The NZCT Secondary School Girls’ tournament has been a major part of New Zealand Cricket’s junior development programme since its inception in 1994.

The tournament starts off with St Hilda’s Collegiate School meeting Havelock North High School on Fitzherbert Park 1; Tawa College playing Whangarei Girls’ High School at Fitzherbert Park 2, and Villa Maria College up against Epsom Girls’ Grammar School at Manawaroa Park.
