Smith guides Blaze to win

Anna Smith’s 101 moved State Wellington Blaze into an ultimately winning position against State Otago Volts at the Basin Reserve.

Wellington put on 216 for eight before bowling out their visitors for 101 with 19.8 overs to spare.

Kirsten Spence’s four-wicket haul for Otago was matched by Wellington’s prolific pace bowler Sophie Devine, who was assisted by Sian Ruck (3/40) and Amanda Cooper (2.14).
