When two young BLACKCAP fans from New Plymouth arrived for a day of cricket at Seddon Park they didn’t expect to be part of the event.
The pair of young cricketers from Fitzroy Cricket Club were plucked from the crowd and asked to if to do the flag bearing honours at the start of day two in the Test match between the BLACKCAPS and South Africa.
Dressed in replica kit and white cricket pants, Kirt Biefek (14) and Bailey Wisnewski (14), jumped at the rare opportunity.
