Jess Kerr made her WHITE FERNS debut in both ODI and T20I cricket against South Africa in the 2019-20 season.
Kerr was elevated to the national set up after strong domestic form having topped the wicket taking charts with 20 wickets in the 2019/20 Dream 11 Super Smash competition.
She has the ability to swing the ball prodigiously while also possess some long range hitting ability down the order with the bat.
WHITE FERNS coach Bob Carter was excited to add Kerr to the contract list for 2020/21.
“Jess was an excellent addition to the group last season and impressed the coaching staff with her work ethic and commitment. We are excited to see her develop her game,” Carter said.
The Kerr name is familiar to WHITE FERNS fans; Jess’ sister Amelia is also in the side, the pair relishing every opportunity to take the field and represent New Zealand together.
